Guided jungle and hilltribe trekking tour with a detour to the Doi Inthanon mountain including
elephant riding, bamboo rafting, jungle hiking, overnight stays in Karen hilltribe villages, a visit of a Hmong hilltribe village and sights on the Doi Inthanon.
We do this trekking tour every day.
Pick up from hotel or guesthouse: 09:00 - 09:30 h.
Back in Chiang Mai at about 17:00 h

Tour itinerary
Day 1
9:00 - 9:30 h. : Pick up from hotel or guesthouse by pick up truck.
We will leave Chiang Mai on highway 108 past the airport to Sanphathong, an about 40 min. drive. We will make a stop at a local market. The guide will buy the food for the trek and you have time to buy some things you might need on the trek.
After an about 30 min drive to the waterfall where we can swim and have lunch.
After the break we will drive about 10 min and then hike about 1 hour to a Karen hilltribe village. There we will stay overnight in a hut. We can have fun at a camp fire (local beverages available).
Day 2
After breakfast we will walk through the jungle to a waterfall for about 2 hours. There we will have lunch. Then we will walk another 1.5 hours to a Karen hilltribe village. Then another hike of about 45 min to the camp site where we will spend our second night.
Day 3
After breakfast we will go feeding the elephants, playing in the mud with them and bath them. After lunch we will go bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang Stream for about 1 hour.
The rafts are made of bamboo stems fit together with ropes. After that we will drive back to Chiang Mai where we will arrive at about 17:00 h.
